BEC-Baltimore presents: A Virtual Test Facility Tour
Tremco’s Sustainable Building Solutions Test Facility offers a unique educational opportunity. In addition to mitigating risk for clients by testing systems for performance and compatibility, Tremco’s facility has helped third party labs and consultants understand the limitations of various systems, and learn proper application techniques to ensure optimal performance in adverse environmental conditions. BEC-Baltimore is hosting a live virtual tour of their Sustainable Building Solutions Test Facility in Cleveland, Ohio. The tour will include a virtual walkthrough of the manufacturing plant and Tremco’s brand new Thermal Environmental Chamber. The tour will last for approximately 45 minutes, and include time for additional questions.
We will focus the discussion to assist participants in:
- Identify suitable test standards for building enclosure waterproofing systems;
- Discuss appropriate strategies to restore deteriorated waterproofing systems to improve the performance of the building enclosure;
- Identify suitable waterproofing materials to use in various applications to stop water intrusion through the building enclosure; and
- Explore new integrated waterproofing technologies that are being developed in the market.

Biography
Marcy Tyler will host the tour. As Director of Building Science for Tremco Incorporated, she and her team lead system design, compatibility testing and training for the whole family of Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG) companies.
