Hands-On Building Enclosure Workshop 1: May 23, 2017

BEC-Baltimore, in conjunction with BEC-DC, will be joining Carlisle Coatings and Waterproofing for an afternoon workshop with hands-on training for the installation of air and vapor barriers, waterproofing, and the critical tie in details between the transitions. The event will be located at the NB Handy facility in Hanover, MD. Participants will receive two AIA learning units.

This initial seminar begins with examining underslab/foundation waterproofing and air/vapor barrier systems on the lower section of exterior walls. The workshop session will compare liquid and sheet applied barriers and illustrate the critical tie-in details between these systems.
